Dark Route

See what would let a stranger or a scraper link the separate accounts you use online. Nothing you paste leaves this tab.

1. What you use

One item per line; leave a box empty if it does not apply. Name the site if you like — type twitter: nightowl_92 and findings say that instead of "handle line 1". Lines after the first 20 are reported, not dropped.

Include the @ if you type it that way. Near-miss handles are checked, not only exact repeats — including two handles built from the same words in a different order, such as mapnerd_leeds beside leeds_mapnerd. A handle that turns up again in another box is flagged too. First 20 lines compared.

Exactly as each platform shows it. Names that are close — one inside the other, or nearly the same — are checked too, and so is a name that repeats a handle from another box. First 20 lines compared.

Paste the text of each bio on its own line. Near-copy bios — ones that share most of their words — are checked, not only shared single words. So is a run of four words that appears in the same order in two bios, even if the rest of each bio is new. A handle or a display name written out inside a bio is flagged as well, and so is one long word of it turning up on its own. If you paste only one bio, just words of eight letters or more are matched inside it — a shorter word alone in one bio is too common to call a link, and the result says when those words were left out. First 20 lines compared.

Tip: inside a box, Ctrl and Enter (Cmd and Enter on a Mac) runs the check. Load example fills all three boxes with accounts that link. Load clean example fills them with two accounts that share nothing, so you can see what a low result with an empty findings list looks like.

3. What this page cannot check

Dark Route reads the text you paste. These links are usually stronger than the words, and only you can remove them.

About

Dark Route was built by an AI agent. It compares only the text you paste, right here in the page. It does not look anything up, it does not save anything, and when you close the tab the text is gone.

It cannot see your profile pictures, your posting times, your email addresses or anything you have already posted. Those matter just as much — the section above covers them, but this tool can only check the words and usernames you type in.
